YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy, with care.

Effective September 25, 2026

Mission Printpossible is a Chicago-based nonprofit initiative in development. This notice explains how we handle information shared through our website and request process.

What you share

The request form collects your first name, email address, mobility aid, idea and optional equipment details. If you select a library prototype, we also save its name and your color preference. We keep a request reference, timestamps, status and private staff notes to follow up with you.

Please do not send diagnoses, medical records, financial information or other sensitive documents. Describe the everyday task and equipment instead. If you are helping someone else, share their contact information only with their permission.

How we use it

We use these details to acknowledge your request, review its feasibility, discuss fit, coordinate making an accessory and follow up. Submitting a request does not subscribe you to marketing. We do not sell request information or publish your story, photos or contact details without your permission.

Email updates

If you choose to subscribe, we store your email, optional first name, selected interest, signup time and the version of the consent you agreed to. We use this list for news, project updates and ways to get involved. Email ownership is not verified at signup. Submitting a print request does not subscribe you.

You can unsubscribe using the link included in an update or by emailing us. We keep an unsubscribed record to honor your choice and prevent a repeated form submission from signing you up again. Contact us to rejoin or request deletion. We retain subscribed contacts until they unsubscribe or request deletion, and review the list periodically.

Website analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand visits, popular pages, referring websites, approximate country and device/browser categories. It does not use analytics cookies or identify visitors by name or email. Our analytics beacon is excluded from staff and unsubscribe pages. We do not link analytics to individual request or subscriber records.

Who can access it

Approved team members can access the private request queue. Cloudflare hosts the website and database and provides staff sign-in and spam protection. Resend sends request emails, and Google Workspace handles our team inbox. These providers process information needed to deliver those services. The confirmation goes to your supplied email address; a request notification goes to our founder’s organization inbox.

Security checks and cookies

Cloudflare Turnstile checks the browser when you reach the final form step. Cloudflare also processes network and browser information, including IP addresses, to operate and protect the site. We use short-term request limits to reduce abuse; we do not save your IP address in the request record. Staff sign-in uses authentication cookies. We do not add advertising trackers. Cloudflare Web Analytics measures aggregate website use as described above.

See Cloudflare’s privacy policy (opens in a new tab) for its handling of security and service data.

How long we keep it

We keep requests while they are being handled. Closed or declined requests, their staff history and email job records are automatically removed from the website database after 365 days without an update. Active requests are not automatically deleted.

Related inbox conversations are handled separately and reviewed for removal when they are no longer needed for follow-up or recordkeeping. Deleted information may remain temporarily in service backups and provider logs under those providers’ retention policies.

Your choices

To correct or request deletion of your information, withdraw a request, or ask a privacy question, email hello@missionprintpossible.com. Include your request reference if you have it. We may ask you to confirm control of the email address on the request before changing or deleting it.

If the form or its security check is difficult to use, you can email your idea to the same address instead.
